Hello, I'm Harriet
Hello! I'm Harriet, owner and creator of One Splendid Day. I live in South Wales but I have travelled, lived and worked all over the world! I have a masters degree in Education and I was a primary school teacher for many years!
While living in London I met my husband (a Welsh man) and we have since had two children. We have decided to settle in the lovely town of Penarth, South Wales.
While planning my own wedding I became obsessed with hunting for treasures and crafting. After the wedding I felt a real passion for the whole process... and didn't want to let it go! Floristry is a passion of ours; we take a modern approach to floral design. We will choose flowers that will work in harmony with your venue and flow naturally with your overall wedding design. Using only sustainable techniques, we will create floral arrangements that will stop your guests in their tracks. We pride ourselves on using the best quality flowers. The local flower farms we work with, chosen for their fabulous blooms, are a testament to that.
We love the way our flowers can light up any venue, from your bouquets to a wedding arch. They are a stylish and unique statement, an attention-grabbing talking point and more than a nod to the contemporary and growing awareness of sustaining our precious planet. That said, you have the last word in everything and your personal taste will be the driving force.
